Terrible service—this hotel shouldn’t be rated as five-star (or a VIP hotel on Expedia). The staff was unhelpful, the facilities were poorly maintained, and the overall experience was far below expectations. Definitely not worth the price! I’ll never stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for quality service and a true luxury experience.

Love this hotel! Our 4th time back, loads of pool choices, we stayed in a senior suite Unique. Upgrade is definitely worth it, lovely a la carte breakfast by the pool, food great in the buffet. Brilliant top floor balcony with lounger, excellent staff, will definitely be back.

The hotel is a huge complex that you don't necessarily need to leave during your holiday if you are into that kind of an experience. You can find multiple pools, several restaurants and even a decent minimarket at the hotel. Pools got fairly crowded during the day even though it wasn't high season. Same can be said about the breakfast. The room was spacious but had a little moldy smell to it. The service was ok but nothing to write home about.

The staff went out of their way to accommodate me after a missed flight. They did all they could to make my stay comfortable. The resort itself is one of the nicest I’ve stayed in. Huge rooms. Great breakfast. Highly recommend this place.

Amazing facilities - what a place. If you want a luxury stay that’s child friendly and has delicious food then here’s your place. We stayed half board and it was more than enough for us, I think full board would have been too much if anything! Trying to find fault I would say the area doesn’t have a great deal of places to go, but lovely shops along the beach front and places to go, just not loads to explore. But there is more than enough to keep you happy at the resort with plenty of different pools and activities - if that’s the type of holiday you’re looking for it’s absolutely spot on!

Large resort with 9 pools. Long walking distances in such big facilities but feels nice because of the nice surroundings. It is a bit worn out but cleaning is good. The fight of placing towels on chairs in the morning is a bit annoying. Opening times of the restaurants are hopeless and makes it difficult to order food on the premises. Also we felt arrogant treated by some male service staff in the baobao restaurant when we were asking bout opening times. Breakfast buffet in baobao restaurant is mediocre and quality varies a lot. Very nice ham and cheese area, egg station and crepes. Sweet melon was really good while strawberries and pineapple were not edible. Coffee not great. The worst thing is the cleanliness of the plates. Something seriously wrong with how they clean the plates. All feel dirty and gross with water traces. The African restaurant was really good though. SVery expensive price which makes it a good value stay.

Lovely hotel, in beautiful grounds. Lots to do. Walking distance to many bars and restaurants along the sea front. Only fault was rooms had a musky smell. Also we did have to move rooms because our first room was located next to a heavily planted bamboo area that the birds roosted in. The noise as sun rose in the morning was unreal. Moved to a room that was not near a heavily planted area and was fine.

This hotel is truly spectacular. If you're looking for a tropical getaway without traveling too far, this place offers an immersive experience with towering palm trees and lush, warm-climate plants throughout the property. The atmosphere makes you feel like you’ve been transported to Mexico. The rooms are spacious, with large bedrooms and private terraces that provide a peaceful retreat. The hotel itself is vast, and it takes about a day to get familiar with the layout. Despite its size, it remains a quiet and relaxing place to stay. Amenities are impressive, including a heated pool and two beautifully designed buffet restaurants. The upstairs bar is equally stunning, with stylish decor that enhances the ambiance. Fitness enthusiasts will appreciate the well-equipped gym, though it would be even better if it opened at 6 AM for early risers. However, the food quality is inconsistent. While some meals, like the steaks, are excellent, other items—such as oil-soaked fries—miss the mark. The buffet food is often served cold, which is disappointing. The biggest letdown, though, was the cleanliness of the plates. On four out of five days, I encountered plates that were visibly dirty, making me hesitant to use them—something I wouldn’t expect at a hotel of this caliber. Overall, the hotel has a lot to offer in terms of ambiance, comfort, and amenities, but improvements in food quality and cleanliness are needed to make it truly outstanding.
